Update on Sustainable Warmth Competition

Minutes:

It was reported that there had been some Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery Scheme Phase 2 underspend. It had not been possible to find enough suitable Council housing properties within the timescale.

The Sustainable Warmth Competition was in two parts. The Local Authority Delivery (LAD 3) of £439,334.05 had been overwhelmed with applications and the deadline to complete had been extended. The Home Upgrade Grant (HUG1) off gas was for £169,272.02. Clarification was being sought on projects in Conservation Areas. Information was awaited about potential HUG2 funding.

There were also several routes to ECO funding for Council Tax banding A to D. Simple funding could require householder contribution. Processes would need to be set up to target and manage proxies.

Discussion took place on giving advance notice of schemes.

Derbyshire Wildlife Trust - Wilder Project initiative

Minutes:

It was reported that the Wilder Project Initiative would work and support nature groups across the Borough. A workshop was planned in March to come up with actions and tools for groups to share. Details of nature groups were invited.
