STATEMENT OF THE REASONS FOR THE DECISION:

As part of the 2024/25 Local Government Finance Settlement, councils were required to produce a Productivity Plan.

ANY ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED:

The options available to the Council were:

OPTION 1 – To approve the Productivity Plan, complying with the Government requirement. (Recommended)

OPTION 2 – Do nothing (Not recommended)

DECISION:

That the Productivity Plan at Appendix A be approved for submission to the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government and publication on the Council’s website.
