REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION

To ensure the Council secures available funding through the Sustainable Warmth Competition Home Upgrade Grant 2 (HUG2) to upgrade the energy performance of around 38 privately owned houses which have no access to mains gas for heating.

ALTERNATIVES CONSIDERED

As set out in paragraph 6 of the report

RESOLVED:

1.    That the acceptance of the Award Letter from Midlands Net Zero Hub (previously Midlands Energy Hub) to secure the funding be approved

2.    That the approach to procure with a direct award through Fusion 21 Decarbonisation Framework to appoint E. ON Energy Solutions as delivery partner for this contract be approved
