RESOLVED: That the minutes of the meeting held on 29 November 2018 be approved as a correct record.

Consideration was given to the consultation responses received to the draft Street Trading Policy 2019-2021, approved by the Committee at its meeting held on 29 November 2018.  The submission of detailed accounts was welcomed.

RESOLVED:

1.    That the consultation responses received be noted.

2.    That the amendments to the Policy proposed at section 5.4 of the report be approved.

3.    That the amended Street Trading Policy 2019/2021 be approved.

Consideration was given to enforcement actions by the Licensing Service in the period October 2018 to February 2019.  Co-ordination with the police and the increase in the number of periodic targeted enforcements were considered.  It was reported that Pub Watch meetings occurred less frequently and were aimed at licensees, though ward councillors would be invited to attend periodically.  Councillor Sizeland expressed an interest in attending an evening enforcement visit in another ward.

RESOLVED:

1.    That staff be thanked for their hard work.

2.    That the contents of the report be noted.
