Other Interests Minutes: Councillor Scott declared an ‘other’ interest in agenda item 6 (HPK/2019/0399 Highgate Farm, Highgate Road, Hayfield) (reason: has exchanged correspondence with the resident who is objecting to the application and communicating with planning officers over this) and withdrew from the meeting during the consideration and voting on the application
Councillor Sizeland declared an ‘other’ interest in agenda item 7 (HPK/2024/0437 9 Netherfield Road, Chapel en le Frith) (reason: has worked together with the applicant on some matters) and withdrew from the meeting during the consideration and voting on the application
The Chair advised that some of the committee members may know the person speaking in objection to application HPK/2024/0437 as he is a former HPBC Councillor. |

HPK/2019/0399 - Highgate Farm Highgate Road, Hayfield Minutes: Erection of a single storey stable attached to existing stable, removal of existing windows, additional door to existing stable, slight raising of the stable roof on the north west facing elevation.
Applicant: Dr Peter Crompton
During the debate, it was requested that Environmental Health investigate the concerns raised by members of the public about light pollution arising from artificial high lighting.
RESOLVED:
1. That planning permission be granted as set out in the report; and
2. That in the event of any changes being needed to the wording of the Committee’s decision (such as to delete, vary or add conditions/informatives/planning obligations or reasons for approval/refusal) prior to the decision being issued, the Head of Development Services be delegated authority to do so in consultation with the Chair of the Committee, provided that the changes do not exceed the substantive nature of the Committee’s decision.
